Interesting and curious movie. It was also unexpected movie because i though the main character will die. But in the movie he was a hero in the film so how come he died right. Wladyslaw was not lose his hope and never give up. He still go on with his life even though he was separated with his family. He was very sad on that time. He cried. And when the Jews bomb his hiding place he still not give up and give his life to the Jews. What i want to point here is this character was not negative thinking. If he had a negative thinking, of course he will give up his life and died. He think positively and tough to said that " I must survive! I can survive in this situation!" With his really hard spirit he can survive in that kind situation that i can say not all can do like him.
Next, I can say that he was really lucky knows how to played a piano. It was like the piano was his luck to keep him survive. He get the job because of it and also get the mercy from the Nazi officer, Captain Wilm Hosenfeld. Because of the resonance of the piano make the officer touch and pity to him. If not maybe the officer killed him from the first saw him.
From my view The Pianist want us to do not give up in our life in whatever difficult situation that we face. We must have positive thinking and so that it will make us have a reason why we must life. And also we must be smart to avoid from the other push and tread us. Lies when needed, obey when have too. But that not mean we are afraid.
